Welcome, all pregnant, breastfeeding and interested moms who want to learn about breastfeeding. Come to learn more about health benefits, specific cost saving of breastfeeding, and how breastfeeding can work for you and your family. Children of all ages are welcome at our meetings.

You do not need to be a member to attend meetings or call certified leader for help. We encourage all moms interested in breastfeeding to attend meetings. Please come even if your question is not related to the topic. We will be able to help you.

When We Meet:

LLL of Kaufman County meets the second Monday of each month. Getting settled in at 10 a.m., we begin "meeting content" at 10:15 a.m. and end at 11:45 a.m.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies according to the philosophies found in The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding, and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers-to-be and new mothers, with all aspects of breastfeeding. Leaders are available by phone for breastfeeding questions or concerns.

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Our volunteer services are free and membership is not a requirement. However, if you attend on a regular basis and/or would like to support LLL and breastfeeding in your community we have annual memberships for $25 and $40. Memberships are fully tax deductible.
