La Leche League helps mothers breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education. All women, as well as nursing babies and young toddlers, are welcome at La Leche League meetings. Meetings are FREE to attend!

When We Meet:

1st Friday of the month, 10:00 a.m

*Some months we have to move to another Friday. Call Tina to confirm.

In March we will meet on the 23rd & in April on the 20th

Location: St. Helena Catholic Church, 14714 Edgemont, near Nacogdoches and O’Connor.

La Leche League meetings follow a rotating series of four meetings.

Available at La Leche League meetings is the LLL breastfeeding manual, "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding". Our Group also maintains a lending library of books dealing with all phases of parenting, from birth & breastfeeding through school-age issues.

Leader Information

La Leche League Leaders are experienced mothers who have breastfed their own babies and who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help mothers and mothers-to-be with all aspects of breastfeeding. They are available by phone whenever you have breastfeeding questions or concerns.

La Leche League is an international, nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.

Our volunteer services are free and membership is not a requirement. However, if you attend on a regular basis and/or would like to support LLL and breastfeeding in your community we have annual memberships for $25 and $40. Memberships are fully tax deductible.
